Something New

Now that I am 9 I am going into 4th grade!I am super excited and I found out that my teacher is going to be Mrs.Heap. I hear from people in my school and ward that she is SUPER nice. I am not in the same class as my best friend,Aimee but I will make lots of new friends and me and Aimee decided on a spot on the playground that we will meet up at.I hope everyone is having a good summer!I know I haven't written in a while but today it just came to mind that I need to write! I will try to write soon. love you all!

HALLOWEEN!!!!!!

So everyone knows that last Thursday the 31st was Halloween! at school we had a lot  of fun. one thing that  we did was bobbing for.......DOUGHNUTS!!!!! I know it sounds crazy but we did! the moms that were helping put doughnuts on string and with out using our hands we had to get the doughnut into our mouth!  another thing that we did was called "WRAP THE MUMMY"! We had 4 people in our group and one was gonna get wrapped up like a mummy! we had to get the person wrapped up as best as we could in like 2 minutes! the mom helpers were the judges and had to vote what each mummy looked for instance one looked like a mermaid mummy! the moms also had to decide who was going to get the big prize

Why I Am Getting Baptized

Hi!I just wanted to tell you my feeling's about baptism. I KNOW I am a  child of  god. and so are all of you. I got baptized because I know all my sins get ALL washed away. this is because Jesus paid  for all my sins. I joined the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I knew it was a true church. I felt that because when I was reading the scriptures I felt good inside. there is one scripture I really like, it is in 3 Nephi 11:33-38 (in the Book of Mormon), "And whoso believeth in me, and is baptized, the same shall be saved; and they are they who shall inherit the kingdom of God...And again I say unto you, ye must repent, and be baptized in my name, and become as a little child, or ye can in nowise inherit the kingdom of God."

It was hard for me to choose who would baptize me. I had always planned on Daylon doing it, but then he went on a mission. So I had to choose between my brother Trevin and my dad. It was hard, but Daylon sent me an email that the Spirit would help me and that I should pray about it. And so I went into my room and I prayed. And the Spirit helped me decide - Trevin.

On Friday it was my b-day and it was so much FUN! Because it was my first friend party we had a chocolate fountain! IT WAS AWESOME! One thing especially liked was this doll that is kinda like an american girl doll except it didn't cost as much! It had pink glasses just like mine too! I got a magnetic board too! It had  2 pink flowers and 6 pink polka dots also.I got a scrap booking kit and a Lalaloopsy  doll!            from Daylon i got pokemom  cards and from Jenny I got twistables.i had such a  FUN   B-DAY!    

Snowball Fight

Today when we were in the car on our way home from the library, I had a notebook with me, and I started crumpling up the paper in the notebook. And then I started throwing them at Trevin. I yelled, "Snowball Fight!!".

Trevin got the snowballs and threw them back at me. Then I started crumpling up a BUNCH more paper snowballs, and now our car is filled with them.

And also, today my mom and I made caves in the living room and we got some of the paper snowballs and threw them at each other! We played that for about 1/2 an hour. I won the round, because I threw the most snowballs at Mom and hit her in the face. But Mom halfway won because she hit me in the eye!

crazy birds

today the breeze  felt relly nice so mom opened the door. then a bird  came into our house! and a mosquito! we didnt really like the mosquito coming into our house. And then, the bird found its way out by flying out the door.

And guess what? The first time that I did my blog I was only 3, and now I am 7! And guess what? I am missing both my two front teeth, but now the left tooth is growing in.

One time in school we did this fun thing. We were learning about the Revolutionary War, and how England ruled the 13 colonies. Mrs. Perkins, our teacher, pretended to be the King of England, and we had to pay taxes to her. The taxes were M&Ms! We had to pay taxes to sit in our chairs and we had to pay taxes for our desks, too! We boycotted our chairs, and so we stood all day without our chairs, because we didn't want to pay taxes for them. Sometimes our legs got tired so we sat on the floor.

Mother's Day

On Mother's Day I made Mom breakfast in bed, and she had a great time.

I gave her a recipe book that I made in my Kindergarten class. I also took Alyza from Mom so she could sleep more. She was happy about that!

Being a Big Sister Rocks

I like being Alyza's big sister. It's fun to help mom with her. I like to hold her a lot, and that helps mom when she's doing the laundry or helping someone else.

I'm in kindergarten, and I like it a lot. It's fun! I've been learning how to write letters, and I'm learning to read right now. I used to be on "Red Readers" and now I'm on "Orange Writers". My mom says I'm a major reader! Today I brought home a new book to read, and I was so good at it that Mom passed it off already, and tomorrow I will get to bring home a new one.

Mama's Helper

I really help Mommy, and it feels good to Mommy. She's really sick cuz she's having a baby, and she's having some problems like throwing up, so I have to help her. I make her lunch or breakfast, and sometimes I even help with dinner, but most of all I help with lunch. Me and Anna sorted the laundry because it was too stinky for Mom. Then we went to bed, and in the morning I helped some more. Mom feels really happy when I help.

I am excited to have a baby in Mommy's tummy and I can't wait to be a really big sister. I will help Mom with the baby a lot, and it will be fun playing with her.

My Priss-Mas Lights!

Once when I was 2, we went driving to look at Christmas lights. Because I was just a baby, I clapped my hands and hollered "My Priss-Mas lights, my priss-mas lights!" I was so excited. I still like to look at lights and sometimes I still say "My priss-mas lights" because it makes me laugh.

For Christmas I want a Barbie and some Polly's, and a new book that I can write in (a journal), and a pretend phone, and my own Christmas bag that lights up with Christmas lights.

We celebrate Jesus' birthday on Christmas. I like to look at the Nativities with their Christmas lights and even the ones without Christmas lights. I can't wait to see Santa and what he brought me.

Primary Program

Our primary program is this Sunday if anyone wants to come. My mom says it is at 11:00 at our church. She also says that the best place to sit is on your own left, if you are facing the pulpit. (or lefthand side of a center pew). Everyone except Owen is on that side, but Owen is right up front, so you should be able to see him too. My mom has the scoop because she is in charge, woo hoo!

I know my part: "When I am baptized, I will have a testimony and know that the church is true."

I like using the microphone very much, because we get to hold it by ourselves.

Right now I am playing a fun game. it's called swinging in the hammock my brother made out of sheets. he is a great brother!

My Day

Today at church we talked about chores. My teacher gave us a picture of lots of chores, and we had lots of fun. At home my chores are: take out the recycles and put away the clean silverware. Also I have to put away my laundry.

We had different snacks during class time, and we have a different teacher. It was like a private day just for me today, but there were other kids there - some of them I knew, and some of them I didn't know. Sometimes I forget my friends' names.

We made a Cheerio necklace, and then we got to eat it, because it was made of real cereal, like at breakfast. I gave some of mine to Anna, and she gave me a smiley face treasure that she got in Primary.

Now you can figure out the rest of my day on your own.

Growing Up

Daylon's birthday was lots of fun. I had cake and ice cream and everything else. I gave him a car that I got at the dollar store. He loved it so much! He said, "I'll race you with this and I'll beat you."

Tomorrow is my first day of preschool. I will have a lot of fun doing show and tell. I can bring whatever I want. I'm going to bring Daylon's Little People guy that he got for his birthday from Lydia.

Allie's Grandpa's Day

My grandpa would be a funny supplier if he wrote a blog. Excuse me, but both my grandpa's would have a lot to write. They should write about crocodiles and everything else. I would look at their blog every day if they had one, and I would write something back to them. I bet they would write a lot of wonderful things.

Grandpas, if you don't want to write your own blog, then just write on mine.

A Fun Friday

Yesterday we went to Big Surf. It was a LOT of fun. I liked it when we went on the big wave. I also liked it when I went on the slides for kids my age all by myself. Mom and I went on a big slide together where we went really fast and went up sideways and then the other sideways on the slide. It was a lot of fun. When I got hungry we went out to the car for a snack.

The reason we went to Big Surf is because we earned a lot of points for doing our chores really good this summer. We had to get 300 points!

Yesterday we also dressed up like cows and went to Chick-Fil-A for a free combo meal. I got chicken nuggets, fries and a root beer. MOOOO!

Soap Sculptures

Yesterday we had fun making soap sculptures. I made it with a bar of soap, a non-sharp knife and my hands. We had a really fun time. I made a tractor and a person. I liked the smell of the soap, but I couldn't smell it too good because I have the sniffies in my nose. yup, that was my day.

Learning New Things

I love to swim by myself without my floaties. It is so great. I am going to be four soon, so I am also learning to read. That will be great because I will be reading in my preschool class. I will also be writing my name, and I have been working on my Es.

I have never swam without my floaties before, but on vacation I have learned how. That is because I did not bring my floaties with me on vacation.

I Can't Wait

I love going to the Grand Canyon. We are leaving in two days to go there. That will be a lot of fun. Mom says we will have a lot of time to read when we're there. Two more days! We're going on Thursday. I am really excited!

My Talk

I really loved giving a talk in Primary today. I really loved going up front and using the microphone. I said my talk all by myself, except a forgot a little part, and my mom helped me say that part. Here is what I said:

I know that I am a child of God. Whenever I say my prayers, Heavenly Father and Jesus listen to me. I love it when they listen to me. I love Heavenly Father and Jesus.
